South Indian Lunch

This is Basmati Rice, Dhaal, Tomato Rasam and Beef fried sambal. (Clockwise)

Everyone in my family enjoy having South Indian Cuisine, so my mom cooks it often. The combination of Rasam and Beef sambal is so yummy. It's best to have this menu on a rainy day when your tummy is always hungry. ;)

Sri Lankan Fish Patties (Deep fried pastries)

This is a Sri Lankan delicacy which is usually sold at all road side food stalls and restaurants. It can be made with chicken, salmon or beef filling. The original taste comes when made with salmon.
The dough is made without yeast/baking powder.

As locally called patties, is a tasty evening snack. Can be served with ketchup.

I love Chinese!

Chinese Shrimp Fried Rice with Chilli prawns is the best combination! If pineapple cubes are added to the chilli prawns then it would be sweet and sour prawns.

Capsicums, onions and carrots are half cooked just ready for the sauce.

My breakfast today

Time flies in the kitchen! Isn't that strange? I always find it hard to finish my cooking on time. This was my breakfast today which took almost two hours to finish. I LOVE Macaroni with chicken and cheese. I mixed in some coriander to enhance the flavor and taste. It was so good.
